U.S. Seamen’s Union Urges British Seamen Not to Man Prison Ships

The National Maritime Union of America has cabled an appeal to the National Union of Seamen of Great Britain urging that British seamen be instructed not to serve on the vessels forcibly returning the Exodus Jewish refugees to Germany, it was revealed here today by the American Jewish Labor Council. The message was signed by Ferdinand C. Smith, national secretary of the N.M.U.
