Jewish State Must Be Established Soon to Prevent Unforeseen Developments at U.N.

A Jewish state must be created immediately in Palestine “lest anything unforeseen occur” at the next session of the U.N. General Assembly, scheduled for September, Dr. Nahum Goldmann, a member of the Jewish Agency ##cutive, said here, addressing a victory meeting called by the French Zionist ##deration.Stressing that the first task of the Palestine Jews is agreement with the ##abs, Dr. Goldmann said the “world will judge us by our treatment of the Arab ##nority in the Jewish States.” He counselled the Jews against forgetting their debt ### Britain, and said that after Britain withdraws from Palestine good relations must ### established with it, although the new state must not be within the British orbit ##it belong to the entire Middle East.
