Judge Maurice Bernon, of this city, tonight received the 1947 Charles Eisenman Award, presented annually by the Cleveland Jewish Welfare Federation to the person making the outstanding contribution to the city’s communal welfare. Judge Bernon is chairman of the National Council of the Joint Distribution Committee.
