The Joint Distribution Committee today announced February appropriations of $5,828,000 for relief, reconstruction and resettlement operations.
Emanuel Borenstein, of Waban, Mass., Bailed for Buenos Aires, Argentina, to assume his now duties as assistant director in Latin America of the Joint Distribution, Committee, it was. announced today by Moses A. Leavitt, JDC executive vice-chairman. Before Joining the JDC, Mr. Borenstein was executive director of the 3 New England Zionist Region. He also served with the War Refugee Board, American Red Cross and the Jewish Welfare Board.
