The America Red Cross is sending large quantities medical supplies to Palestine for both Jewish and Arab relief organizations, it ### announced here today by the International Red Cross, which will supervise the attribution of the supplies in Palestine.
The international body also revealed that it will send additional Swiss representatives to Palestine to help protect hospitals, wounded persons, prisoners of war ###, wherever possible, the civilian population. The action was taken following re##pt here of written assurances by the Jewish Agency and the Arab Higher Committee that they will adhere to the Geneva convention on warfare.
