Dr. Simon Greenberg, provost of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, will be acting president of the Seminary for the academic year 1948-49, it was announced today by Alan H. Stroock, chairman of the board of directors. Dr. Louis Finkelstein, president of the Seminary, has been granted a leave of absence to carry out further research in his rabbinic studies.
