Edouard Herriot, president of the National Assembly, this week-end received M. Mueller, president of the Agudas Israel of France, to discuss the Palestine situation. After the audience, Herriot issued a statement which said “the peace in Palestine, and in particular the peace of the city of Jerusalem and the welfare of its inhabitants, is a constant pre-occupation of the French Government.”
