Study of Hebrew in New York City’s Schools Gaining Faster Than Other Languages

The New York City Board of Education reported today that the study of Hebrew in the city’s school system has gained more rapidly than any other foreign language. During the last three years, Hebrew gained more than 17.5 percent in enrollment, an annual survey disclosed.
