Last Minute News Bernadotte Reports to U.N. That Jews, Arabs Will Accept Demilitarization of Jerusal

U.N. mediator Count Folke Bernadotte today reported to the United Nations from Amman, capital of Transjordan, that both the Jews and Arabs will accept the demilitarization of Jerusalem, it was revealed here this evening.

It was also announced that e special session of the Security Council will be held tomorrow afternoon on several Palestine issues. The United Kingdom delegation will bring to the attention of the Council the case of five Britons being held in Tel Aviv on charges of espionage and the future of some 300,000 Arab refugees from Israeli-held territory. At the same session, the Israeli mission will protest the continued detention of some 10,000 refugee Jews on Cyprus. (See earlier story on page 3 for more details on Israeli protest.)
