The Canadian Jewish Congress has petitioned the Government of Canada to admit several hundred more Jewish orphans from Europe as well as a group of 108 Jewish technicians and skilled workers at present stranded In Shanghai, it was revealed here today. Seven hundred and eighty-four of 1,000 authorized admission to the Dominion under a special project have already arrived from Europe, it was disclosed,Several additional groups are now an route to Canada and others are being processed. The Canadian Jewish community is also preparing to welcome a large group of Jewish D.P. fur workers together with their families.
