Rep. Emanuel Celler of New York sailed today for Israel as head of a delegation which will discuss the future status of the Red Mogen David with the Israeli Government.
The primary purpose of the group’s visit is to conclude negotiations for inclusion of the Red Mogen David as a member of the League of Red Cross Societies. Besides Rep. Celler, who is chairman of the national beard of sponsors of the American Red Mogen David, the delegation will include Dr. Harris J. Levine, chairman of the Mogen David blood bank for Israel, Mrs. Archibald Silverman, national sponsor of the organization, and Zalman J. Friedman, its executive director.
