The acquisition of the 10,000-ton S.S. Negba from the Dutch Government for a sum of $1,000,000 was hailed here today by Jewish Agency Immigration Director Eliahu Dobkin.
“The Negba, the Galila and the Kedman, “he declared, “will bring 150,000 immigrants to Israel from DP camps in Europe during the year 5709.”
