The 1948 “Humanitarian of the Year” award of the United Jewish Appeal has been presented to Samuel Goldwyn, noted motion picture producer, it was announced here by the organization over the week-end. Goldwyn headed the $10,000,000 campaign of the United Jewish Welfare Fund of Los Angeles.
