Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin today told Commons that no date has been set for Anglo-Israeli talks. He made his statement in reply to a query by S. Segal, Labor M.P.

Bevin also declared that there were many economic and financial problems requiring joint discussion and that these problems were now being studied by the British Government. In reply to Segal’s remarks that further delay would mean a loss for Britain in “hard currency,” Bevin said that “this financial business is not all one-sided.”
