Pledges totalling $3,750,000 for the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York were announced here last night at a dinner arranged in behalf of the U.J.A. by the Joint Defense Appeal at which Judge Joseph M. Proskauer, honorary president of the American Jewish Committee, was honored.The affair was held at the Hotel Waldorf Astoria.
