Israel Appoints Consul-general for Argentina; Minister of Religion Changes Name

Arieh Eshel-Chill was today named Israel’s consul-general in Buenos Aires. It is expected that an Israeli consular office will be opened in the Argentine capital very soon.

The Italian Government has notified Israel of its agreement to the appointment of Shalom Genosar-Ginzburg–son of the late Ached Dean, Zionist theoreticians Israel’s representative in Rome, it was announced today. The appointment of Ben Zion Kadoori-Krugliakov as counsellor to the Israeli mission in the Italian capital was also confirmed.

Israel’s Minister of Religion Rabbi Judah L. Fishman revealed today that he has changed his name to Maimon.
