House Judiciary Committee to Investigate Delay in Resolving Displaced Persons Problem

The House Rules Committee today approved legislation authorizing a special investigation of the displaced persons problem. The investigation, to be made the House Judiciary Committee, will seek to determine reasons for “the slowness of repatriation and resettlement of DP’s” and develop “a broad plan of international cooperation.”
