Mohammed Mahmoud, an Arab living in the village of Khirbet Zakharia in the Hebron hills, which is in Israeli territory, was sentenced to eight months imprisonment today by an Israeli magistrate here for illegal possession of arms. The defendant claimed he needed the weapons to protect himself against Arab infiltrees.
