The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has been asked to make an immediate investigation of the Douglas faction of the Social Credit Movement which is preaching a virulent brand of anti-Semitism. The demand was made by the “Calgary Herald” which editorially declared that the “beginnings of a necfascist movement in Canada are discernible in the activities of this group.”

The Douglasites publish a news organ, “Social Credit,” which in a recent issue blamed all the troubles of the world on the Jews, linked Jews and Communists in a universal conspiracy and wanted immediate action taken against these “enemies of Christian decency.” The National Social Credit party has disavowed the extremist faction.
