The sum of 3,000,000 pesos will be received by “Ayuda” this year from the United Jewish Campaign in Argentina, whatever the results of the drive may be, it was reported here today by the office of the Joint Distribution Committee. “Ayuda” is the financial arm of the J.D.C., World Jewish Congress, HIAS, ORT AND OSE in Argentina. The J.D.C. is its main beneficiary.
Meanwhile, the central committee of the United Jewish Campaign revealed that up to date 20 percent of the drive’s goal has already been raised. The campaign was officially launched last month.
