Joseph Mallah, the first Greek diplomatic representative to Israel, left today by air for Tel Aviv. His staff will follow him on Saturday.

The appointment of Mr. Mallah, a Jew who represented his native country at the League of Nations in the pre-war era, came under attack by the Greek rightists. Both parliamentary deputies and some rightist newspapers scored the Foreign Ministry’s choice of a Jew as its diplomatic representative.
