Students Take Degree in Hebrew at Manchester University; First Time in British History

For the first time in the history of British scholarship, two students have taken a Bachelor of Arts degree in modern Hebrew. They were graduated from the University of Manchester today. The students are David Patterson, of Liverpool, and Ruth Jacobs, daughter of Norman Jacobs, well-known Zionist leader.
