United States and Britain Reach Accord on Palestine Issue in Washington Talks

General accord has been reached between British Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin and Secretary of State Dean Acheson in talks on the Palestine situation which have been taking place since Mr. Bevin’s arrival in the United States, it was learned here today.

The State Department announced today that close consultations with regard to the Palestine situation will continue between the United States and Britain even after Foreign Secretary Bevin returns to London.
