Unification of the only two Jewish teachers seminaries in Canada–the Hebrew Teachers Institute and the Jewish Teachers Seminary–was announced today by the Canadian Jewish Congress.
Dr. M.A. Reguer, formerly director of the Institute, will head the new school which will be known as the Canadian Jewish United Teachers Seminary. The Seminary will train teachers for all types of Jewish educational institutions in Canada.
