The French Foreign Office has approached the International Court of Justice in behalf of foreign nationals — chiefly Zionists — now interned in Egypt, it was reported here today.
A Foreign Office spokesman told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that this action was taken following diplomatic conversations conducted between France and Egypt. He added that it is hoped further action through the Court of Justice will not be necessary.
