Legislation designed to protect “the public from falsely-branded kosher meat and food products in the District of Columbia” was introduced by Rep. Arthur Klein of New York, it was revealed today. Rep. Klein said he introduced the legislation because of reports he received about the public being defrauded in purchases of kosher-labelled meats.
