A quiet demonstration took place today outside the Rumanian Legation here when scores of parents whose children have been detained for four or five years in Rumania demanded reunion with their sons, daughters and relatives.
The Bucharest Government has virtually banned emigration of Israel-bound Jews. The Rumanian Minister, M. Cioriou, promised to refer their plea to Bucharest, when a delegation of the parents explained the situation to him.
