Sixty-four boxes of books have been sent to Israel as a gift from the Central Committee of the Organization of Jewish Refugees in Italy. The volumes include school texts in Yiddish and English.
Two Jewish delegates representing Israel, Meyer Yaari and J. Bar Yehuda, are attending a meeting here of the directive committee of the World Conference of the Partisans of Peace. Yaari is president of the Boy Scout movement in Israel and also head of the peace movement there.
