A delegation from the World ORT executive will leave for the United States in mid-November to participate in talks with the Joint Distribution Committee, it was revealed today following a two-day meeting of the ORT executive.
The parley decided for the time being to continue operating ORT schools in DP camps in Germany and Austria. At the same time, it was disclosed that with the closing of numerous ORT schools in Germany and Austria, new institutions will be established in Israel and in North Africa.
