James N. Rosenberg Observes His 75th Birthday; Spends Day with His Family

James N. Rosenberg, noted American Jewish leader, will attain his 75th birthday on Sunday. He will mark it by spending the day in the intimate circle of members of his family at his country residence at Mamaroneck, N.Y., it was learned today.

Mr. Rosenberg, who has a rich record of activity in Jewish communal life, is the honorary chairman of the Joint Distribution Committee. He is also the chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the National Conference of Christians and Jews and is chairman of the U.S. Committee for the U.N. Genocide Convention. He is the author of a number of books and many of his paintings have been acquired by more than twenty museums and art galleries throughout the country.
