A strike at the Haifa oil refineries has been averted, it was announced today, following the reinstatement yesterday of four dismissed employes. Extensive negotiations between management and the Haifa Labor Council led to the decision of the refineries to reemploy the dismissed men. The company agreed to consult with a workers’ committee in cases of future dismissals.
