A welfare organization established by Eva Peron, wife of the Argentine President, will send a shipment of food to children in Israel, it was announced here today by Pablo Manguel, Argentina’s Minister to the Jewish state, who is now on a visit here.
At the same time, the Argentine branch of WIZO has received special permission to send clothing to Israel children. The export of clothing is generally prohibited in Argentina, Dr. Manguel pointed out.
