American Mizrachi leaders, who have just arrived in Israel, are conferring with Minister of Religion Judah L. Maimon on the possibility of reviving the Sanhedrin, ancient Jewish tribunal. The American religious Zionists, headed by Pineas Churgin, president of the Mizrachi Organization of the U.S., are also discussing with Dr. Maimon plans for the establishment of an institute for higher Jewish studies and various religious problems pertaining to Israel.
