Israel Parliamentary Delegation Welcomed by London Mayor; Entertained by King

The Israel Parliamentary delegation which is now visiting here at the invitation of the British Government was today welcomed officially by the Lord Mayer of London who expressed gratification that the Israelis had accepted the invitation.

In the afternoon the members of the delegation were entertained by King Goorge at a garden party at Buckingham Palace. The Jewish deputies were also guests of the Foreign Office tonight at a reception in the House of Lords.

Replying to the Lord Mayer, Pinkas Lubianiker, spokesman for the delegation, paid tribute to the courage of Londoners during the height of the Nazi blitzrieg against the city. He said that Jerusalem citizens, who were also required to show stiff resistance to a foo during the war, approciate the hereism of the Britons.
