A marked decrease in cases of poliemyelitis in the Tel Aviv Area during the past few weeks is reported in the Jerusalem Post, Englishlanguage daily. While 84 cases were reported in the area during May and 80 in June, the number of new cases for the month of July dropped to an average of one a day.
