French Mizrachi Organization Opposes Abolition of Party System in Zionist Movement

The national conference of the Mizrachi Organization of France concluded here today with the adoption of a resolution by the delegates opposing the abolition of the party system in the Zionist mevement. The delegates asserted that the Zionist parties still have an important role to play in preparing the Jewish people outside Israel for immigration.

The delegates adopted another resolution congratulating the members of the Religious Bloc in the Israel Cabinet for their struggle to mold the Jewish state along traditional religious lines. The religious ministers were specifically thanked for their battle in behalf of religious education in the immigrant camps in Israel and for the fight waged by Minister of Religion Rabbi Judah L. Maimen against the government’s proposal to purchase non-kosher meat abroad. Another resolution supported the establishment of a women’s section of the French Mizrachi.
