A total of 18,800 Jewish refugees arrived in Israel during the month of August, it was reported here today.
An additional 980 immigrants landed here today aboard the S.S. Komemiut. A party of 670 Jews from Poland were disembarked here yesterday from the transport Galilah. The vessel immediately put out to sea to return to Venice for another transport of immigrants.
