Dr. Yaacov Tsur, Israel Minister to Argentina, ?ruguay and Chile, has explained to the press that the Israel Institute, projected at the South American Zionist Conference earlier this month, will have as its chief aim the establishment of a center of Hebrew studies and culture.
The Institute, which the Zionist Conference recommended be sponsored by the Jewish Agency and the Israel legation here, is acceptable in principle to the organizations concerned, Dr. Tsur announced. He said that work on it would be started in a few months.
