A chair of Hebrew literature has been established at the University of Venice and Dr. E. Toaff, Chief Rabbi of Venice, will occupy it, the Union of Italian Jewish Communities reported here today. Universities in Rome, Milan and Bologna are contemplating similar action, it was revealed.
