The Federation of the Associations of Jewish War Veterans today brought a libel action against “Aspects de la France,” the organ of the anti-Semitic organization Action Francaise.
The suit was brought because of a series of anti-Semitic articles published by Action Francaise declaring that Jews were responsible for the war and for the sufferings it brought for France. The Federation will be represented at the trial by very prominent lawyers.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
