Yivo Jubilee Conference Concludes with Adoption of $450,000 Budget for 1951

The 25th Jubilee Conference of the Yiddish Scientific Institute — YIVO — concluded today with the adoption of a budget of $450,000 for 1951.

The convention presented two awards of $200 each for studies on American Jewish life. One award was made to I. Ganz, of Chicago, for a study on Jewish community life, and the other was made to Joseph Rappaport for his work “The Attitude of the Jewish Press in America Toward World War I.”
