Israel Cabinet to Remain in Office Until After New General Elections Are Held

An official statement issued by the government today announced that the outgoing Israeli Cabinet will remain in office until new general elections are held. The date for the elections has not been set as yet, but some of the major political parties have requested that the elections be held in June.
