A report received here from the Island of Samoa said that A.M. Gurau, the only Jew living in western Samoa, was elected to the western Samcan Legislative Assembly. He is one of five Europeans elected to the legislature. Me. Gurau has been a member of the Australian Jewish Historical Society since its inception.
