Congressmen. Senators Submit Declaration Favoring $150,000,000 Grant

A declaration favoring the $150,000,000 grant-in-aid for Israel, signed by 36 Senators and approximately 160 members of the House, was submitted to the House Foreign Affairs Committee tonight by Rep. Jacob K. Javits, as the committee began hearings on the Near East.

Admiral Donald B. Duncan, a naval expert, Dr. Henry G. Bennett, Administrator of the Technical Cooperation Administration, and George C. McGee, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, will testify before a closed meeting tomorrow.
