“The autonomy and integrity of the Jewish National Fund was retained 100 percent intact by unanimous opinion of all parties in the Zionist movement,” Dr. Harris J. Levine, president of the Jewish National Fund of America, reported today upon his return from the World Zionist Congress in Jerusalem.

“In messages sent to the World Conference of the Jewish National Fund, Dr. Chaim Weizmann, President of the State of Israel; David Ben Gurion, Premier; Eliezer Kaplan, Finance Minister and other government leaders praised the activity of the Jewish National Fund in Israel, and specifically in the United States, as the most dynamic force in preparing the land for the State as well as an educational and cultural factor.” Dr. Levine said.

He expressed his confidence that “the ardent workers and supporters of the Jewish National Fund in America will strive to strengthen their efforts in its behalf, thus assuring the continuance of land acquisition, amelioration and afforestation.”
