President Truman, in his interview with Benjamin G. Browdy, president of the Zionist Organization of American last Friday, expressed the hope that peace between Israel and the Arab states might not be far off and, in a reference to the current Paris conciliation sessions, intimated that the United States would attempt to bring about an Israel=Arab peace agreement as soon as possible, Mr. Browdy disclosed today.

He made these disclosures at a meeting here of the national administrative council of the Z.O.A., to which he pledged that the Z.O.A. would dedicate its resources and manpower to fulfillment of the program set forth by the 23rd World Zionist Congress.
