Seventy-eight persons, or three percent of the Jewish population here, have abandoned their faith since the beginning of this year, it was reported here. Most of those who were converted were not persons who married Christians.

The Association of Christians and Jews has scheduled a series of lectures in various Bavarian towns on the Talmud and Talmudic philosophy during this month and next. The lectures are aimed at acquainting the German people with the ethical values of Jewish teachings in an attempt to counteract Nazi propaganda.
