The Chief Rabbinate of Israel today ordered special prayers to be held in synagogues throughout the world for President Weizmann’s speedy recovery. The official bulletin issued today by the doctors attending Dr. Weizmann said that his condition remained unchanged during the past 24 hours.

The President’s temperature is still above normal, according to the doctor’s bulletin. Hundreds of visitors called today at Dr. Weizmann’s home to express their wishes for his recovery, but were not allowed to enter. Nor was Israel’s Chief of Staff, Brigadier Yigal Yadin, allowed to see the ailing President. Premier David Ben Gurion sent a message to Dr. Weizmann expressing hope for his early recovery.
