A new volunteer security force to aid in maintaining order in this city has been established at the initiative of Mayor S.Z. Shragai. The new volunteer force will cooperate with police and Army units to protect the population from Arab infiltrees and crimes of violence which have been mounting here. A high-ranking police officer, it is understood, will be named to head the volunteer force.
