A strong protest against the granting of an Austrian entry visa to Ferdinand Durcansky, Foreign Minister in the puppet Slovak Republic under the Nazi regime, has been made to the Ministry of the Interior by the Vienna Jewish community, it was revealed today.

Durcansky worked closely with the Nazis in the deportation of Jews from Slovakia to the concentration camps. He reportedly came here from Argentina. The protest describes his presence here as “provocative” and warns that it will encourage former Nazis and fascists in their underground opposition to a democratic Austria.
